NUTRITION

All,
After practice Monday I spoke briefly about the importance of good nutrition with the runners. This part of Cross Country cannot be overlooked. If our runners don't have the correct fuel in their tanks their performance will suffer.
We are very lucky to have an expert on Sports Fitness among our parent group. Merica Koch, Audrey's mom, sent me a wonderful website for our runners and parents to check out for nutrition tips on what are some good proteins to eat. Please check it out with the kids. Thanks Merica!
