State Meet Information

This weekend is the State Meet at Master Station Park in Lexington.  The following are the meet times.  In (paranthesis) is the time to arrive at the meet.  Please allowan additional 20 mins due to the traffic and parking around Masterson Station Park

1:45 pm - 5th grade boys and girls  (arrive at 12:15)
3:45 pm - 4th, 3rd and 2nd grade boys and girls (arrive at 2:15)

Directions to Masterson Park:
Mapquest.com  Destination address   3051 Leestown Rd, Lexington, Ky  for better directions. 

From I-64 west-   Take Exit 65.  Turn right.  Go down the hill to the intersection.  Turn left toward Lexington.  Go 7.8 miles.   Turn left in to Masterson Station Park. 

From Bluegrass Parkway west-Take Bluegrass Parkway to Versailles Road.  Go to New Circle Rd.  Take New Circle north to Rt. 421 Exit.  Turn left.  Go 2.2 miles to Masterson Station Park on your right. 

From I-75 North-  Take Exit 115  Rt 922.  Turn right.  Go to New Circle Rd and turn right  on to New Circle Rd.   Take Exit 7.  turn right.  Go 2.1 miles.  Turn right in to Masterson Station Park.

From I-75 South-  Take Exit 113  Turn right on to Broadway.  Go to New Circle Rd.  Turn right on to New Circle.  Take Exit 7. turn right.  Go 2.1 miles.  Turn right in to Masterson Station Park.

From I- 64 East.  Turn north on I-75 and follow above directions for I-75 South.

Admission charge will be $5 per person. Parents and fans please have correct admission ready at the gate to speed entrance to the Park.

Fall Break Practice Schedule

Practice schedule for fall break week.  We will have practice on Tuesday and Thursday.  NO practice on Monday.

Desales Invitational at MCkneely Lake

The following is the directions to this weekends race at Mckneely state park. Please arrive @9:15. It will be cool so the kids can wear something under thier running shorts and shirts. The girls race @ 10:30 and the boys follow around 10:50.
Directions:
Take Gene SNyder (I-265) to the Smyrna Road exit. Take left (South) onto Smyrna road. Follow road until you get to Cooper Chapel Road. Take left onto Cooper Chapel Road. Follow road for about 1/2 mile. On your right will be the entrance to Mckneely state park. (IF you pass a golf course on your right you ahve gone to far. Take right into park.) You will be on park road. follow road until you see other the tents or the tennis courts.
I would recommend mapquesting Mckeely Lake before you leave saturday. It's not that difficult to get there but it is our first time going in about 3 years.

Dragon Invitational at Oldham County Highschool

THis weeks race is held at Oldham County High School in Buckner. All runners are to arrive by 1:30 so we can get warmed up and a walk thru in.  The girsl are scheduled to race at 3:00 with the boys to follow at 3:40.  We will be the first two races for the day.

Tonights practice is CANCELLED!!

Due to the weather and the threat of severe weather during practice time.  Tonights practice is cancelled.

Trimble Co Invitational Directions

This Saturday, October 6, we travel to Trimble County for the Trimble County Invitational.  All runners are scheduled to be there by 9:00 am.  This should gives us plenty of time to do our walk thru and warmups.  The girls race at 10:30 followed by the boys at 10:45. 

The following are the directions to Trimble County Park.

Directions: Trimble County Park
From Louisville Take I-71 North to the Campbellsburg Exit (exit 34), Turn left off of the ramp onto Hwy. 421, Travel approximately 7-8 miles to Bedford, Turn right at the stop light (US 42/US 421/ Main Street), Keep to the left of the fork onto US 421, Travel approximately 5 miles, (You should pass Trimble County High School), Trimble County Park will be on your right. Buses take the 2nd entrance.  All other vehicles should take the 1st entrance.
 
You may also take Highway US 42 all the way out.  It may take a little longer however it is a pretty drive.

Parking:  Buses should take the 2nd entrance.  All other parking will be located at the 1st entrance.

Admission: $2 per person
