The meet this Friday is located at EP Tom Sawyer State Park, below is the schedule:
4:00 check in
4:15 walk through
5:00 2nd-3rd Boys&Girls start 1K
5:20 4th-5th Boys start 2K
5:40 4th-5h Girls start 2K
Please plan to be at the tent by 4pm. This is a large meet with over 500 runners on each start, so please allow plenty of time for parking which is near the swimming pool & soccer fields.
We do have practice on Thursday but it will be a little lighter than others because of the meet the following evening.
There will be no practices next week do to the meets we have on Tuesday and Thursday. I will need a few volunteers to help during the meet on Thursday, if you are available please let me know. After this meet we will have our team picture done and everyone is welcome to bring a picnic dinner.
I will have an optional practice this Saturday morning at 8:30am for any runner wanting to get in a few extra miles. We will stretch and then run an easy 2 miles through the nature preserve. Again...this is purely optional, just show up by 8:30.
Because there will be no practices next week, I encourage running a little on your own. Nothing too strenuous, a mile or so to stay in shape.
