Hey parents, I'm starting to organize the Harmony Cross Country Banquet. I will let you know as soon as we have a "set in stone" date.

Every year the 5th grade boys and girls who have participated in the Harmony cross country team all of the years that they have been here receive a special award. Here are the 5th graders I know off the top of my head:

Hello Team - This Weeks Schedule is as follows:

Monday - Practice 6pm

Tuesday - Meet at Oldham Co. Youth Soccer Complex, 4305 W. Highway 146, Buckner, KY 40010, next to Old. Co. Middle School.

Saturday - Meet at East Oldham Middle School, 1201 East Highway 22, Crestwood, KY 40014. Directions: I-71 North to exit 18 – (Highway 393 exit). Go to the end of the exit ramp and turn right onto highway 393 South. Hwy 393 ends at Highway 22. Take a left on Highway 22 and travel just over 2 miles. The entrance to the school is on the left. It is just past the Northridge subdivision. The school sits back from the road. Signs will be posted at the road to draw your attention.

N. Oldham Cup Info

Hello Team - Some last minute info about the meet Thursday night. Please plan to arrive by 4:45 at our normal spot for practices. The girls start at 5:30 and the boys at 6:00, awards and team picture will follow so I need everyone to stick around after both races.

Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic dinner for after the races.

I failed to mention earlier that we are also having a "paper drive" for the nature preserve, please bring paper towels or toilet paper to donate to Creasey Mahan. I apologize for the last minute notice.

Meet Info This Week

Tuesday evening is the rescheduled Shelby Co. Meet, the Girls start at 7pm and the Boys at 7:15. Check in will be at 6:00pm with the walk through at 6:15pm. Below are directions:

The meet is located at East Middle School in Shelby Co., 600 Rocket Lane
Shelbyville, KY 40065-8946

From I-64 Exit 35:

-North onto KY 53.

-Right at light onto US 60E (McDonald’s Restaurant).

-Left at light onto Rocket Lane (Shelby County High School on left).

East Middle School is located at the end of Rocket Lane on the left.

Parking:

All parking will be at East Middle School on Rocket Lane. No vehicles permitted near the greenhouses or the course. There will be a $1/car parking charge.

North Oldham Cup Info: Thursday is the No. Oldham Cup at Creasey Mahan, our first start is at 5:30pm with check in at 4:45pm, will we not have a walk through.

Thanks to those who have volunteered but I need more help for timing, finish line recorders and the chute. If you are available to help please email me at sbailey@baileytools.com so I can send out roles/responsibilities later this week.

Following the awards presentation we will have our Team Photo and Picnic, everyone is responsible for their own food and drink so please plan to stick around.

For the 2nd-3rd Grade Race they only recorded the top 20 girls and boys

Our Girls team came in 9th out of 30 teams and the Boys were 21st out of 28. The times for some of the girls look a little off, if they correct the times I will repost them. Great race for all our runners, I am very proud of them all!
