It was brought my attention that I entered the wrong time on the last post. Practice will start at 6:00pm on Tuesday Aug. 2nd.

First Practice & Meet Schedule

Hello Harmony Cross County,

This is a quick reminder about our first practice next Tuesday Aug. 2nd at 6:30. We will meet at Creasey Mahan by the picnic tables near the field house. Please remember to bring the required forms, you can just click "2011 Required Forms" to the right to print them.

I would like to welcome Terri Mulligan as a new Assistant Coach and Liz Lossin and Tish Sandman as parent support for the team. They will be a wonderful addition to the group. I’ve also received a great response from parent runners, thank you and we can always use more!

Please read the post below titled “2011 Cross Country Info” for more information about the upcoming season. Here is the tentative list of meets we will plan to run:

NEW HEAD COACH

All,

It is with a heavy heart that I writing to let everyone know that I will not be able to be the head coach of the Harmony Cross Country team this season. My son has chosen Fall Baseball to be his primary sport this fall and I will not be able to attend all practices and meets. I will still be around to help and make sure the program is set up for success this season and for years to come.

Not to worry, Coach Bailey has agreed to step into the head coaching roll this season, but will definitely need someone to step in as an Assistant Coach. Preferably someone with a young runner so the program can be in good hands in the future. Coach Bailey's son is a 5th grader and this will be his last season. Please let us know if you can help.

As a reminder the first practice is Tuesday, August 2nd, 6:00pm-7:15pm, at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. Meet behind the Nature Center. Please make sure your child has their sports physical paperwork signed by a physician, as well as Oldham County Board of Education Form 9060-F, and the Harmony CC Procedure Form, both signed by a parent or guardian to turn in before they will be allowed to practice. All forms can be printed from the "Required Forms" link on the right side of the blog page.
